Thank you for your quick reply.
I am familiar with these instructions and have followed them to the best of my understanding.
It may well be that I have not fully understood the instructions, so perhaps you could help me out a little.
I have installed Android Platform Tools, including Fastboot. When I enter “fastboot --version,” the following message appears: “fastboot version 28.0.2-debian.” If I want to update it to version 35, as recommended, I enter the following command: “sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot,” and I get the following output: fastboot is already the latest version (1:10.0.0+r36-9).
I don't know if I am limited by my Linux Mint operating system.
With the PATH command
I don't know what to do with the command, as my version cannot be updated to version 35.
Standalone Fastboot
I downloaded the file and tried to install it. Unfortunately, after the version query, version 28 still appears.
Perhaps you can explain to me what is going wrong and what I am doing wrong? I would be very grateful.
