Hello, I'm a new Graphene user, installed it very recently. I have a few problems.
I only really need to use a Google account for two apps: Google Sheets and Google Meet (both for college).
I intend to use my university google account for those two and nothing else.
I use a throwaway account for the Google Play Store/Services (required for some other apps I use, but I don't want to use an account for them). For example: Google Maps. I downloaded Maps from the Aurora store but it still recognized my throwaway for Google Play and logged me into it? I thought the Play Store was supposed to be sandboxed. I assume it might have something to do with the google services section in settings, where the account is visible.
I don't want to associate my university account with a throwaway or any other account. So I guess my questions are:
- How do Google Apps installed outside of Google Play recognize my google account instantly?
- Shouldn't the sandboxed google play and services prevent that?
- What does it even mean that google play and services are "sandboxed" in the first place?
- Would it be possible to use an app, e.g Google Sheets, with only a secondary google account (in my case, my university account), NOT the main account used for google services (in my case the throwaway account)? That, of course, includes not being logged into two in-app accounts in the first place (only one)
- Can I use Google play without having my account be in the "Accounts" section under settings (seems like it could be avoided)
I know that my questions seem very complicated, but what I'm asking for is so dead simple that one would assume it's possible to do. I just don't want to cause any confusion, that's all.
Thank you.
