Hey there, I just got a Pixel 8 pro second hand but almost new. I installed Graphene OS via the official tutorial from an arch linux PC without any issue during the process. It is my first install, so I'm very new to this. Pardon me for being a noob.
Whenever I try to update existing apps or install new ones, I get an error message:
Download failed
Unable to download [whatever I'm downloading]
Details:
javax.net.ssl.SSLProtocolException: Read error [...] Failure in SSL library, usually a protocol error [...]
[...] functions:OPENSSL_internal:BAD_DECRYPT [...]
[...] routines:OPENSSL_internal:DECRYPTION_FAILED_OR_BAD_RECORD_MAC [...]
I hope I included everything useful.
I couldn't find much online, only stackoverflows from android devs. But I'm no developper, and I didn't really get anything that they were saying.
It could also very well be a hardware issue. The last owner had some light problems on default android (tho no such error messages from what I know, it was just a bit sluggish during some operations) and gave it to me, in hopes that it was software and that installing another OS would solve it.
Can anyone help me figure out if this is solvable? Thanks!
