Donations and gos financial position

Dear developers and gos team
Thanks for amazing work you do for a lot of people worldwide. I got a question and a suggestion. How much does it cost to run your project and how are you doing financially? Second suggestion to me it makes a lot of sense to occasionnaly ask for a donation in the system with a popup like signal does. Encouraging people to not just freeload would probably help (also adding usdt would make it easier no need to swap)

They’ve said that they have funds. I’ve personally donated a lot and I would definitely not donate again if they start showing pop-ups like Signal. One of the reasons why I donate is because GOS is not annoying like that.

DeletedUser421 GrapheneOS will never implement any sort of advertising in the OS. It's one of the most serious security/privacy project that exist.

Hello, I've been using grapheneOS for about 2 months and have to say I do like it (from IOS since iPhone 5), I would like to donate but am in Kenya and bank charges are high, when I go to the option for card it takes me to a page for Daniel Makey, so have been wondering if its the same as donating to grapheneos.

Bank charges to bank accounts are generally high. So its much easier paying by card.
