So I have 3 profiles now. First one is no Google at all and just basic stuff. Second one is for games where I need play services. And funnily enough also eBay. Needs framework and play services for some reason. Now I wanted to make a third account for banking. I go through the usual setup in the beginning and navigated to f-droid.org in Vanadium to get Aurora store and then my banking apps. But I cant install f droid. It always says something along the lines of "the app wasnt installed because the package is invalid". I even tried the exact same apk file that worked on the other 2 profiles. No luck. Whats happing here?
Cant install F Droid
I'll try to keep this short.
According to GrapheneOS's lead dev, it's because F-Droid updates itself and the apk on their website is not the most up to date version.
The easiest way to get around this would be to uninstall F-Droid from all profiles, then install F-Droid in owner, then push F-Droid to profiles by doing Settings > System > Multiple users > *the profile you want to install to* > install available apps > *turn on F-Droid*
unwat that worked perfectly, thank you!
