snugsallstar In theory this is no longer necessary on Windows 11, but you could try installing Google's fastboot driver as described on the installer page.

snugsallstar Hi did you enable OEM unlocking, reboot into the bootloader and then connect your phone to your PC as per the official instructions?

Last bit of clarification, I am at the Download Release (2nd step) and when I click on the button, no device can be found so I am unable to move forward.

As for driver, yes, I tried to manually install but windows said I have the most recent driver already
and for OEM unlocking, yes, I am at the step just after that where I need to obtain factory image, but no device is found.

Yes, that part worked out. Now I'm on the next step of Obtaining Factory Images, I press the Download Release button and the pop up window can not find any device. Then I get red text Error: Failed to execute 'requestDevice' on 'USB': No device selected.

I have tried unplugging and replugging. Again usb 3.2. First use of cable that came with phone. Nothing in Device manager once phone reboots.

snugsallstar try restarting your browser. Make sure you are not in incognito.

snugsallstar Also perhaps try another cable, and even though not the recommended action, if you have a normal usbc-usb cable try that in another port

On Chrome and Chromium I was stuck, but I installed Edge (shudder) and it is downloading the build.
Big shrug. Fingers crossed it keeps progressing through the steps.
