Running stable on my P8 with no issues. Saying great job is an understatement, what the team has accomplished, without access to the Pixel source trees, is truly impressive. Hats off to everyone involved.

P8P: everything is working, but.. not sure if it's related to this release or it's just me noticing it now.

If you lock phone with the button -> wake up with the same button right away -> unresponsive screen with no time or visible/working fingerprint on it (just wallpaper)

Seems to be running better than Android 15. Very responsive. Maybe it was better that Google did not publish the device tree!

My WiFi auto-turn-off function does not work after the update. P8P is always reconnecting to my WiFi. The timer is set to 10 minutes.

I wonder whether this is a side-effect of the temporary removal of NFC auto-turn-off (s. https://grapheneos.org/releases#2025070800 > last bullet point? (Pure speculation.)

Have you tried disabling the feature, reboot, re-enabling it, maybe with slightly different time to increase chance of fresh configuration in that area?

(Forgive me, as I can only offer laymen error analysis atm.)

p6a: there are minor visual bugs that i can reliably reproduce: go to settings and start just going into menues and back (in my case i was going into battery diagnostic page and back) - sometimes when going back there will be still part of the highlight from when you pressed the option still hanging in the air for a bit (at least for the duration of activity change animation)

Isn't this more a feature than a bug? I assumed it came with UI changes introduced with a new major Android version.

100%!! Personally ive been using GOS for years now and it still amazes me how great the team really are. I cannot state that highly enough and could not imagine being without it.

Thank you, P6P working great and perhaps a bit nippier. The only issue I have is Windscribe no longer connects, but was working perfectly on the last stable release. Could the update have triggered this, do I simply need to reinstall the app perhaps?

In my "Modes", I have the background set to dim on my main profile. When I switch from a secondary profile back to my main profile, the background is dimmed even though "Modes" is not on. I need to manually turn "Modes" on and then off to make the background normal brightness.

semi The wallpaper dim is not happening every time, but I've noticed that it is in fact happening on secondary profiles as well.

It happened on a secondary profile that I never set up sleep mode on. The only way I could undim the wallpaper on that profile was to set up sleep mode with the wallpaper dim on, then shut the sleep mode off.

Pixel 9 Pro, seems like the call recorder is gone while in call (settings related to it is still present in the settings menu). Rtt seems to have taken its place (even though rtt is turned off in settings).

Have tried a restart and it still doesn't work.

i confirm, pixel 8 also is affected is same way. during call in bottom-left corner was button to record a call, now there is RTT which does nothing when pressed.
