I do have a serious problem with my Pixel7a. (physical sim card, provider: Digi.pt)
If I'm without mobile connection for a while (30min and longer), my phone does not connect again. I can wait for one hour and more, but nothing happens.
Until now I couldn't figure out what causes this problem and could not find a logic way to reconnect.
Sometime a restart of the phone or switching sim card off/on several times helps and sometimes not. Setting a new APN does the same.
Reset of the mobile radio settings does not help, I did this allready a few times.
Somehow I get the connection established after doing these things again and again.
When this strange behavior happens, APN's are deactivated or sometimes deleted and if the phone is reconnected to the carrier again, it creates a new APN with wrong and bad settings.
A other problem which came with that one it that since a while I can't connect to 5G any more. The phone just does not find any 5G Networks with this specific sim card anymore, what it did at the beginning.
What could cause these problems?
And how can this happen that a phone is only a useless pocket-computer without the possibility to make calls? ;)
