DeletedUser370 This doesn't seem to be the case. Had to swap phones because my phone turned green. Made a new user on my other phone. Downloaded google play/services, removed all permissions. Downloaded aurora and vipps. Ran through the setup and it works

Quantum Okay, then it's difficult to know what the logic behind their blocking is. Don't think there have been any recent reports of the root message other than one person reporting that it worked again after a reinstall.

I got my new phone under warranty. And "my" way worked again.

I installed it on p10pxl, simple sandboxed play store install. Every feature, including nfc payment, working without issues from the start. The dnb app, though, says my phone is rooted.

You might want to contact DNB about this. They resolved an issue that occurred on GrapheneOS in the past. Also might want to create a separate thread about DNB to keep this one tidy.

Strange. Seems like there's some component other than just OS that they maybe haven't quite taken into account yet? Not sure exactly what goes into the verification stuff, but when it seems like they may be making an effort to keep gos supported, perhaps there's something that could be obvious to the devs when two installations that should be the same still behaves differently?

Hi. I have had the same challenge with Vipps as described earlier. Installed via Aruba, several times, 5- 7 times, authenticated and got the same problem with similar messages in the app. Now I have installed vipps via GPS and have made payments, bio-finger, it has been over an hour and it is still working. Many thanks for the help from this thread.

ses-kittelsen Guessing you mean Aurora store. I have no problem using Vipps after installing it from Aurora store. Got google play services and all that installed, but those apps have no permissions.

Hi. I installed from Aurora store (Aurora store of course) several times, but failed. My Pixel 9a was new mid-December 25. Before that I had Pixel 8a, with Vipps from Aurora store which worked just fine. I don't quite understand what's wrong when I installed from Aurorastore. (Owner profile)

One thing I came to think of, I logged into AuroraStore with my gmail account instead of anonymous, to download Vipps. Previously I used anonymous, when I had Pixel 8a.. Could it mean anything...?

ses-kittelsen I use anonymous too. I recently got a new pixel 8 bc my pixel 8 broke. Got Vipps up and running smoothly in one try.

We have MobilePay here which is nowadays the same company as Vipps and the underlying tech is the same.

MobilePay works but think it needs the play services. Also found out today that their NFC stuff also works on GOS. So I now have a google pay replacement that works.
