ses-kittelsen Guessing you mean Aurora store. I have no problem using Vipps after installing it from Aurora store. Got google play services and all that installed, but those apps have no permissions.

Hi. I installed from Aurora store (Aurora store of course) several times, but failed. My Pixel 9a was new mid-December 25. Before that I had Pixel 8a, with Vipps from Aurora store which worked just fine. I don't quite understand what's wrong when I installed from Aurorastore. (Owner profile)

One thing I came to think of, I logged into AuroraStore with my gmail account instead of anonymous, to download Vipps. Previously I used anonymous, when I had Pixel 8a.. Could it mean anything...?

ses-kittelsen I use anonymous too. I recently got a new pixel 8 bc my pixel 8 broke. Got Vipps up and running smoothly in one try.

We have MobilePay here which is nowadays the same company as Vipps and the underlying tech is the same.

MobilePay works but think it needs the play services. Also found out today that their NFC stuff also works on GOS. So I now have a google pay replacement that works.

Anyone managed to get mobilepay installed on a fresh gos image? After android 17
I had the error about the phone being rooted, but then it suddenly disappered and startet working.
But now, the setup proces is stucked on the MitID part whereas it does not redirect back to the app after signing in succesfully, thus breaking the initial setup, for me at least

Support says it has to do with some settings in chrome, but i doubt it

So my question is, can any of you complete a fresh setup of mobilepay and get it working?

Tried both installing via gps and aurora, no difference

Ive had similar issues aswell. You can try to disable 'open external links in incognito-mode'.
This has worked for me in the past. I couldnt get in when i tried again last week though. So results may vary.

It looks like Mobilepay is a different app from Vipps? So it might be better for people to reply to you in the Mobilepay thread, to avoid getting mixed replies (people using Vipps, others Mobilepay).

Has anyone else gotten tap to pay working in a secondary user profile? I used to have Vipps in my owner profile, and I managed to activate a credit card (though, I was unable to activate my debit). However, now I get the error message “Couldn’t activate card” for my credit card and “This didn’t work” for my debit. The latter is the same as it was in the owner profile, but I used to get the credit card card to activate.

I’ve tried disabling exploit protections, but that didn’t seem to help. Is there a specific permission I have to give GPS or the Vipps app to activate the cards?

quietdragonfly45 i have not, mine fails everytime i try the last part. I get an sms that it is now activated, but the setup fails after that and does not work
