What is the exact message you're getting?
I've been playing with the exploit protection settings and in one very specific scenario, namely when secure app spawning is disabled and hardened memory allocator is enabled, I get this message (when I set the app to English):
Your phone’s security settings do not
permit the use of the app. To protect your
data, the security level of the Android
operating system used on your phone
prevents you from running the app. If you
have a rooted device, please update the
operating system to the latest unrooted
version. If you have done so and this
message still appears, the Android
operating system on your device contains
modifications by the manufacturer or
distributor that may pose a risk in terms of
data privacy or security. In this case please
contact the distributor and, if possible, ask
them to install the ‘factory’ (stock) Android
version.
But if I enable secure app spawning or I disable hardened memory allocator, then this message doesn't appear to me.
And this message doesn't seem to be from Play Integrity check, as I didn't get the Play Integrity notification popup.
