John564479 I dont really get notified when the clipboard is being accessed tho even though show clipboard access is enabled. Any idea why?
Does this answer your question? https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/touch-and-input/copy-paste#PastingSystemNotifications
There's more information on the clipboard here: https://developer.android.com/privacy-and-security/risks/secure-clipboard-handling
John564479 I just tried KeepassDX for the first time and It stated that passwords should not be copied and pasted on android as all apps with access to the clipboard can acquire this information. Thus keepass recommends using its magic keyboard to circumvent this vulnerability.
This makes sense for users who are still on versions older than Android 10. Although if KeepassDX flags clipboard data as sensitive , it sounds like apps that access the clipboard won't be able to see the copied password at all, even on versions older than Android 10? That last bit is somewhat unclear to me, and I'm not a developer.
