Android Auto car display won't launch/load

I'm running a Pixel 7 with GrapheneOS 15.
All of a sudden, Android Auto won't launch, load, or connect to the display in my car.

I've tried troubleshooting with ChatGPT but haven't had any luck.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or does anyone have a solution?

I did a few changes after the issue based on the ChatGPT recommendations.
I currently have the USB set to file transfer.

de0u There is no error messages on the phone. The dash app on the vehicle just says that android auto can't connect / load.

RWT No, when you tap USB-C it it has several modes, What mode is used? "Charging only"? "Charging only when locked"? If it is set to "charging only" data transfer through USB is completely disabled so your phone won't connect with anything using USB.
