system crashed while switching profiles.
- Edited
More details:
Only happens on one profile. The profile doesn't run in background, phone and texting disabled, is used for a geofenced clock-in app (Paylocity) that couldn't work with Graphene's location service. The profile is set up with Google's location service fully enabled, pants dropped to the floor, bent over, all greased up...
So, I also installed an instance of Google Maps on the profile, in case it was ever needed.
Inter Profile sharing is installed, same password as other profiles, but doesn't work, even when I allow the profile to run in background. I was trying to copy an address from a calendar (non-google), using Inter Profile Sharing, into that Google Location Services enabled profile. Was switching back and forth a bit, trying to get that to work, when the first crash happened.
I tried allowing the profile to run in the background, and the phone experienced a system Server crash in that configuration, as well.
Phone locked up switching into the Google Location Services enabled profile, became completely unresponsive to all buttons and screen touches. It eventually gives up and goes dead, doesn't restart on its own.
No crash issue when switching between the other profiles.
Owner profile isn't running Google stuff, was used to install apps to the other profiles, anything Google is disabled on the owner account, before installing into a secondary account.
One difference between this experience and the issue you linked to is, with the older issue, the power button remained active - not so with my case.
I would post this on GitHub, but I don't have an account, and am a noob, anyway.
Really appreciate the initial response.
Try deactivating the developer mode to see if it works then.
Or from another level to the one mentioned not from the main level.
Or wait for the next updates.
