I do a regularly clear app storage and cache, I don't save photos, music is downloaded from Spotify after being deleted from phone storage.
Atm I write down all installed apps that I reinstall after a regular factory reset.
My question is there a backup option, not google, I use to reinstate my apps, rather than the current laborious reinstall.

I haven't tried this fully so can't really vouch go it. Hope others will chime in.

If one manages one's apps with Obtanium, it has an import/export feature. I seem to be able to set a Nextcloud directory as the export folder target.

Thank you for making me go looking for this feature!

Thanks, Ive looked at obtainium but don't understand how it works, tried different app store URL and app names with no luck.

TotalCommander has the ability (after giving the needed permission) to show all installed APK files which can be backed up to an external storage if needed.

Plobberfroth obtainium is the way I do it. Works flawlessly. Although, it only supports apps that are obtained directly GitHub, F-Droid, etc. Most of mine are so it's awesome. I set it to auto export on changes too so I always have an up to date copy of my apps. Importing is a breeze. Honestly, it's my favorite tool on my phone

Perhaps I should qualify, I have the same VPN app installed in each profile but each VPN is set to a different location so each has a different IP
