Dear All!

I have 2 Pixel with Graphene OS (both of Pixel 8A) for daily using and I used them with same password - text based with special character (# and @) lower, uppercase, number and minimum 20 character.

In March 10 I updated my first phone and after that my phone didn't accept my password and my other phone with earlyer build worked fine. I this thay I "accidently" restart the working phone and the problem is same.

Please help our big big big problem.

I use Stable release only.

I do not have any definite answer, just a guess. Could your devices have reverted to a different keyboard layout as a result of the updates? I don't think it is possible to toggle on/off to view your pass code when entering. Can you get a diagram of another likely keyboard layout (perhaps start with US English) and press the corresponding keys to achieve your Hungarian pass code?

I tried this and It isn't worked and because of my paranoid settings without unlocked system i cannot connect the usb keyboard...

I presume that you are looking at a Hungarian keyboard on screen? What I mean is 'imagine' you are faced with a US English keyboard. Ignore the characters on the keys and hit the keys you would press if you were looking at a US English keyboard. No external keyboard necessary. Like I said, it's just a guess with no technical knowledge.

John991 this is one of the reasons using special characters should not be used in passwords you manually type especially if you daily drive keyboard layout different than 'default' en_US. You'd be better off using long passphrase password with plain English alphabet.

As for your issue indeed trying to follow English layout and typing password may be the best bet.

@John991 The thread you've linked from March 2nd, before Android 15 QPR2. What you're saying in their thread isn't possible. You don't have the same issue as that person.

Removed link to the other thread.
