GrapheneOS
In the release notes it had been mentioned regarding the face unlock system present in the 7 series.
I have a doubt regarding why if there is no dedicated hardware required for it, then why is it not supported in the 6 series?
And if it's so insecure is there a way possible to you guys to add some more security measures to harden it just like how you did for the fingerprint unlock system?
Thanks in advance!

[deleted] I wouldn't hold your breath. It sounds like the lack of hardware is exactly why they don't plan to implement in GrapheneOS.

I no longer have the issue with pedometer doubling steps that started in Nov 11 update. Not sure what caused it or how it got fixed, but i'm a happy camper

@GrapheneOS how does "change minimal value of battery saver schedule to 5% again as it was before Android 13" work? Because for the first time in a long time I let my battery get low and at 20% I had a mandatory notification that asked if I want to enable battery saver or dismiss.

Am I misunderstanding this change or aren't we supposed to be alerted only at 5% now if we want to enable battery saver? I would prefer that. 20% is still a lot of battery when the OS isn't spying on you with hidden services and telemetey, such as in GrapheneOS.

      1. Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > Set a schedule > Based on percentage
      2. Set to the desired battery percentage (the lowest being 5%, again)

gosrox that's a good question. I don't use it myself and my battery rarely drops below 50%, so it'd probably be some time before seeing it firsthand.
