Hey everyone! I have a Pixel 6a.

I have a probleme with the camera, the app is showing me a black screen and when I try to take a photo with it it's not taking it. Some time if I smash the flip camera button thr front camera works but never the back camera.

It doesn't work with any other camera app.
The screen button in the top right shows.
When I try to lock the camera the app tels me to open it so this works.

All that I can suggest is to make sure you have the latest version of GrapheneOS. One of my Pixel 7s had a wonky camera when I first installed GOS.

The viewfinder would remain black for minutes at a time, but could still take pictures even though I couldn't see them. Bouncing back and forth between gallery and camera would take ages to bring the viewfinder back up too. GOS was still "experimental" for the Pixel 7 then, and within 48 hours a brand new release dropped and the issue was immediately resolved. Hasn't happened since.

mythodical my device is up to date. And I can not take a photo. But when I try to take a photo and then flip the camera I get this error:

This is almost certainly a hardware failure. Nothing we can do to help.

This means your rear camera is likely not connected properly or is dying. It's likely caused by fall damage or water damage.

Joschma If it were my phone, I would restore stock Android and test the camera again. If it's still broken, then it's a hardware issue for sure. If works, then maybe something went sideways with the GOS install, though I suspect that's unlikely.
