Also had an issue today going from GrapheneOS -> Stock (Pixel 6). Flashing QPR2 worked.

Same issue with Pixel 7a . I try three times and always get error msg at the end of locking step .

This definitely appears to be a Google stock OS flashing issue which does not impact GrapheneOS because we do things differently and have our own web installer.

Guys, how to rollback to stable public after flashing with QPR beta and locking bootloader ?

proclaim Maybe there is a simpler method, but I enrolled in the Google Android beta programme and then I unenrolled. After that I received an 'update' to the stock version.

I was having the same problem as OP; I removed the GrapheneOS key but could not re-lock the bootloader after flashing stock OS.

What worked for me was to flash the Beta 1 using the Android Flash Tool--then the tool happily locked my bootloader. Once complete, I used the Android Flash Tool to flash the stable release. The Tool makes you unlock the bootloader to flash, but when it comes time to lock the bootlader again it works!

Weird, but it worked for me. I hope this helps someone in the same pickle as me.

Not sure what's going on, but GrapheneOS -> "stock" Android 15 seems to be broken at the moment, at least via the web Android Flash Tool. You can however do another release like beta as someone suggested or Android 14.

I don't really like betas so I did GrapheneOS -> remove non-stock key (as recommended by https://grapheneos.org/install/web#replacing-grapheneos-with-the-stock-os) -> Android Flash Tool to Android 14 -> Re-enable developer mode & USB debugging (can't remember if it's needed, but I did it anyway) ->Android Flash Tool to Android 15. Worked fine.

(hopefully https://github.com/GrapheneOS/platform_frameworks_base/pull/4 gets resolved and merged one day so I can use this on my work phone instead of going back to PixelUI...)

Process went:

Unlock bootloader on graphene web UI
Remove non-stock key on graphene web UI
Tried and failed 3/4 times on https://flash.android.com/back-to-public ( failed to lock bootloader )
Tried on https://flash.android.com/back-to-public QPR Beta 2
Worked great

I have followed side of burritos video but when downloading a release and then I get an error when it's flashing.
I am using Google Chrome. And I uninstall the android file transfer tool just so phone it won't connect to it
I am using Mac OSX

Your device appears to be in use by another program (for example: command line adb). If you use command line adb you may have to run adb kill-server. Closing and reopening your browser may also help resolve this issue.

Devices in fastboot mode device state - unlocked

I tried android 15 QPR2 BETA 2, BETA 1, Android 14 QPR3. Also, tried flashing to the public release... USB debugging on and unlocked the boot loader, also, removed non stock key bfore trying to flash..

Please help I have to send this trade in phone back by December 23rd because I upgraded to p9proXL

GrapheneOSJunkie The error message suggests that another connection is made to your phone. Maybe another tab in your browser or a command line window?

I forgot to mention that I am using a Pixel 7 Pro (cheetah)

Michiel my dumb ass had two browsers open, chrome and mullvad and one had the remove non-Stock key and the other one had the android install tool. This is what caused the conflict.
Luckily I was able to contact Josh and he told me what to do.
I restarted the computer opened chrome browser only, and plugged the phone in - removed the non-stock key, Closed the browser tab and then installed android 15 QPR Beta 2.
Side of burritos you are the man!.
