Hi all and thank you to everyone who has contributed to this (ongoing) thread.

Just an update:
I am running a Pixel 8 with 2025080600
Recently Downloaded Revolut v10.90.1 (1009005901), from Arura Store (v4.7.4)
And unfortunately have got the "app needs to be installed from a know Store" (specifically Google Play)."

Hope that helps the devs/others, if anyone has a suggested current workaround, or knows if it will be fixed in a future patch/update?

FWIW, latest version on Play Store is 10.91 (1009104909) seems to install fine on a Pixel 9 with 2025080600.

Hey guys, I'm new here, installed GrapheneOS on my Pixel 9a this week. I'm having trouble with Revolut. My setup was to install it from Play Store in the Owner profile then forward it to my regular user profile. When trying to open Revolut in the user profile, I get this message:

Unsupported app store
To keep your data safe, the Revolut app must be installed from a known app store. If you would like to use the app on this device, you will need to install it from Google Play.

If I open it in the Owner profile, it works, but I don't want to do that, my idea was to have the Owner profile just to install, update and forward apps to other profiles.

Is there anything I could do here? I swear Revolut is the most annoying app ever

omission you'll likely need Play Services in the same profile as Revolut.

I have a Google profile that has all my banking apps. They work fine, including Revolut.

omission If you clone the app using the work profile manager (Insular/Shelter I assume), then the installer is the work profile manager.
You need to install Revolut directly from Play Store in the work profile

I was looking for an alternative to my current UK bank that basically just fobs me off when I try to have a conversation with them regarding their lack of support for Graphene. I just downloaded the Revolut app v10.92 from play store into my owner profile, and was able to create an account and log in. Having read lots ( but not all) of the above I'm thinking I'll just close the account and go to a more mainstream bank whose app is supported. Incidentally 10.92 seems to work fine on my P7. My threat model is very vanilla so rightly or wrongly I just use it like a normal phone with everything on the owner profile

I think I have read that Starling is a UK bank that explicitly supports GrapheneOS. At least, there are a lot of posts on the forum about Starling.

I just got debanked for something unrelated to GrapheneOS from a bank I had for almost 30 years, They all of the sudden decided they don't know if I am real or how to find me. (Related to the US KYC rules) lol

I know this is a older post, but,
I found 3 that would take me as a customer and all 3 have apps that work on GrapheneOS (with a profile that has sandboxed google service/framework), the one in England has expanded to the US, but they are keeping the two separated but it might work for you! Monzo

The other two are Wise (for converting money, physical debit card and virtual) and Axos Bank (US) Both of those apps work, I may head over to the list that GrapheneOS has and add my results if its not already listed.

After one of the latest Revolut app and or GrapheneOS updates, I'm unable to log in if I activate fingerprint. When I open the app I see "Welcome back, <my name>" and nothing else including the fingerprint screen.

I needed to delete the app data and log in again and abstain from activating the fingerprint login.

Anyone experienced the same and found a solution?

Giving my 2 cents here, my only issue is indeed with the fingerprint/biometric login. The app works fine until I activate the biometric signing. As soon as I do that, I can't login, I have that same screen showing "Welcome back, <my name>" and nothing else (not even the fingerprint screen).
I have the 10.94 app version freshly installed through Aurora Store in the owner profile without gplay services.
No exploit protections given, I have all the defaults.
Latest version of GOS up to this day (2025091000) on a Pixel 9 pro.
The pixel integrity toggle does not show up at all.

@GrapheneOS is it possible to fix this fingerprint thing? Assuming you can guess why this is happening.

SilverCat38 do you use any exploit protection? I've enabled everything except DCL via memory as the app won't start without it
