Hey,

i saw that /e/OS has only Android 13 support for my Phone, while LineageOS has Android 14 support for my Phone. I heard that /e/OS has 100/200 Security Issues...is that true? (I don't remember the exact amount anymore) and with LineageOS I get every Week Updates, while /e/OS has Updates only every Month or every second Month...So I decided to stay with LineageOS. Was it the right decision? Because LineageOS has offical Support for my Phone and /e/OS only has unoffical Support (from the Community)

    Have you considered DivestOS?

Assuming GrapheneOS doesn't support your device, that is the only alternative OS I've seen recommended here.

Probably9857 Of course I have and there will be a Build in the Future too. (Is planned) And until then I look for the best Alternative. I asked iodeOS for a Build too.

You might also want to know that e/OS/ has had a massive meltdown of their cloud services in the last couple of weeks, which is still not fully resolved. There has been a lot of chatter on their forums about this, mostly extremely annoyed.

Even if /e/OS calls itself a privacy and security ROM.
It is and remains a Swiss cheese full of holes.
My personal opinion: The biggest rubbish and the biggest rip-off for users interested in privacy and security.
        Hands off it!

skalavagr If you want to continue using your phone use DivestOS

But for that you would have to know what device the thread creator is using

skalavagr I think you did not read all Answers in here. I said that DivestOS is planned for my Device but not out yet. And I know that about LineageOS and /e/OS but they are my only options right now...

[deleted] what should interest you more is the fact that you are likely using end-of-life and insecure non-pixel device and get back on track in terms of security.

DeletedUser69 I know and my Goal is of course buying a Pixel for GrapheneOS but until then this is my Situation still..
