This might have been suggested before or it might be a very stupid idea but bear with me here. GOS has to rely on alpha and beta testers to function properly. This is great because a Dev team can't find every single bug. So we have multiple options to join the graphene community. The Dev team even worked hard to create bridges from often used apps to connect to the main chat lobbies.
GOS is also tailored to everyone. Not just users that know what they're doing. However, there is no way to get into the community chat from default GOS.
Yes, you can install google play and download element, telegram or discord but the first thing people want when they enter the world of google free GOS is to look at the apps, try new things and get support because some people will get lost when they start out and that's ok. But why is there no direct gateway into the community chat available in either GOS store or Accrescent?
Yes, they can join the forum and yes they can get a way to access it from the play store and it might just be me thinking this but why is there no easy access?
I know you can't get Telegram or Discord into the GOS store at this point in time but maybe another bridge with an app that is willing?
This is only a suggestion but I think a lot of new users find themselves lost at first but could quickly turn into understanding users and even alpha/beta testers if they have the opportunity to directly reach out to the community after installing GOS.

This was just a thought I had after searching for Element to add to my obtainium list.

FOSSOS You can access the forum through Vanadium as a PWA which works really great. You can also use a lot of Matrix clients in Vanadium as a PWA, but I'll admit that that's not ideal. Things might change in the future when Accrescent reaches stable (bear in mind, it's still in Alpha and app devs need to be whitelisted from accrescents lead dev to submit their apps) if some Matrix client, Discord or Telegram chooses to publish their app there.

Of course, it will get better in the future and I'm in the matrix groups myself but I realized it's not that easy for new users. Especially for those that are less technical it might not be as easy to get into the community which surprised me because the GOS team did so much to create bridges between platforms but it lacks an easy access point

You mean the Info app that comes built-in?

It doesn't get easier than install OS, do initial set up, check Info app, click link to the forums, create account. Anything else would also require creating some form of account as well, because allowing anonymous posting would be a disaster.
