Seen a artical about the Motorola think phone 25 release and as I was reading the writer said

Motorola announced the new phone without any fanfare in a blog post. The company declared itself the fastest-growing OEM brand in the B2B market, filling the void left by BlackBerry all those years ago. This new device is the second iteration of last year's ThinkPhone, which was one of the best Android devices for security at the time.>

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are since it has a media tek chip

I would be offended even if somebody offered to pay me to use it. MediaTek's last concern is security. Motorolla is the same. They focus on selling big volumes of low-end devices rather than making a good one. This mentality bleeds into their more expensive devices too. They are not even close to meeting the hardware requirements of GOS.

If you read the article, they will say its "security focused" because it has an antivirus preinstalled. Let me remind you that this is an excuse for them to include invasive spyware. Its way better to just use a Samsung device.

Sb93 It's a completely untrue claim. It doesn't have good security, it's simply marketed that way. Mainstream media coverage is horrible and largely repeats the marketing. You can't trust these sources to provide accurate information.
