Hey everyone,
On September 12, 2024, I purchased a used Pixel 4a that previously belonged to a woman who primarily used it for basic tasks such as Facebook, Instagram, and taking photos. The device is four years old, having been purchased a few months after its initial launch.
On September 14, I successfully installed GrapheneOS using the web installation method, following all the steps carefully. The device worked well after the installation without any issues and stutters. I created an additional user for work-related tasks and installed Google Services on both user (owner + work).
However, on September 26, the device unexpectedly restarted. The usual warning appeared: "Your device is loading a different operating system." After about 10 seconds, the Google logo briefly flashed before the device rebooted, and the warning reappeared. It continuously does that until the battery is all drained up.
The only action I could take was to hold down the volume down button to access the fastboot menu. Unfortunately, the menu is unresponsive; pressing any volume button to select options brings me back to the warning screen, and the power button does not respond either. If I don't make a selection within 10 seconds, the warning screen returns.
I also tried to enter recovery mode by pressing the volume up and power buttons, but it remains unresponsive.
Do you have any suggestions?
