McManic yes, using a swipe or no screen lock, otherwise you are out of luck, other forms of device unlock rely on secure element.

According to the FAQ, PIN-to-secret derivation delay is enforced by the secure element. It would be possible to build a custom version of GrapheneOS that did not use the secure element to unlock, but it's not clear this would have a wide market.
