I've encountered a weird bug - whenever I receive a sms (for example, a Google verification code), I am getting a notification that a new message was received, but the received SMS is not showing in the list of messages. Is it just me, or do you have a similar problem? and is there a way to fix it?
I tried cleaning cache and storage for the Messages app, but that didn't help.
Also installing GrapheneOS updates regularly, but this doesn't fix the problem.
Does Messages app not display newly received SMS for anybody?

traveller Can you clarify for me, the notification comes up on your screen, but then when you open the Messaging app, the text does not show up inside the app?
flighty_sloth correct, usually it never shows up inside the app, even after a delay. I am using a secondary (non-admin) profile on a daily basis (with calling permissions on on it).
Sometimes I find received SMS in the main/root profile, but sometimes not - it just gets lost.
router99 I notice the same problem. The notification pops up, but when going to the SMS app, there is no new text. It will show up in a minute or so, but it's not instant.
are you using main/admin profile?
traveller i have noticed the same recently on owner profile. Notification appears, ringtone plays but when opening messages app the new message doesn't appear untill i click on the conversation.
Can confirm as well. New messages never shows app on non-owner users, even though the notification pops. It only shows up after switching to owner.
Until a couple of days ago there war no such issue.
Frankly, this impacts usability to greatly e.g. for apps requiring sms verification.
