Thoughts on Faraday bags. Do you use one?

rbb For my car keys and other radios, I can see why. There's no need to get one for a phone if you enable Airplane mode, even on a stock OS, unless you have a very high threat model.

Only when I wear my tinfoil hat.
Honestly though, it seems like a snake-oil type of product, I don't see how an airplane mode
wouldn't be enough for about 99% of possible threat models.

Not really. I have minimal list of apps that I use and often I need notifications to show up or calls to pick up so connectivity is a must. Though, it is a great way to protect your device completely, in case your dont trust software side of things. Even then I cant find a good reason to use it for now
