From the sandboxed Play Store I installed the Dutch Government identity app DigiD on my Pixel 6a. Dutch government websites use this ID method as a login, of course. But also, for example, my insurance company uses DigiD as a login method. However, using the government website in Vanadium browser, or using the insurance app gives problem because they cannot "see" the DigiD app. On my wife's phone, Pixel 8a, there is no problem, Vanadium and her insurance app can "see" the DigiD app and hence my wife is able to login.
Creating her profile on my Pixel 6a gives negative result: also there the DigiD app cannot be found by other apps.

So the problem is probably related to the device 6a. On both devices, the configuration of the DigiD app is the same. Of course the GrapheneOS is up-to-dated on both devices. Any suggestion?

Are you using a secondary user profile or the owner profile?

I am using owner profile, just checked it.

On my 6a DigID works, secondary profile, no Google.
    On 20240820 and 20240822.
    DigID versie 6.12.0

Sparks Could you please check if this option is enabled? Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > DigiD > Open by default > Open supported links.

If it is already enabled, you can try disabling and re-enabling it to see if that resolves the issue.

Dear fid02, it was already enabled, but there I saw the possibility to add link. After adding link, there is only one possibility to choose: "app.digid.nl". I checked this one for adding. After that, Vanadium and the insurance app can see the Digid app now! I'm happy!

This case can be regarded as solved now.

Maybe a stupid question, but how can I mark this topic as "solved"?

Sparks Users can't, but moderators can. I already used the "flag" feature of the forum to report the thread as solved. 😊
