It's a pity that this matter has to be such a hassle. Of course it would make sense to be able to make use of the NFC functionality of the phone to not have to carry around a bunch of cards, but I have no intention to hand my payment history over to a company like Curve or Google.
It's been a long standing issue that the Revolut app does not support native NFC payments, but obviously they have no intention to change that.
I use quite a bunch of different cards, and if no trustworthy (which is unrealistic) or open source (even more unrealistic?) solution comes up, and the various card issuers are not going to support this in their respective apps on their own, any hope is most likely a dead end, unfortunately.
