Hi! I would like to share my concern about the Active Apps button located in the drop menu. (The small number along the current user, settings and power option buttons)

The issue is that this button currently allows to any potential intruder to see the current apps or services running on the background even when the device remains locked. The risk here is that this could hurt the owner OPSEC by revealing and enumerating security and privacy apps (or any app for that matter), the amount of time they have been running and the permission to terminate them without the owner confirmation via password.

The possible solution to this issue is to request the password before granting access to this menu.

GOS are aware of this. See this github issue. Its locked though, so you might want to make a new one, unless one of the GOS team could unlock it.

Dumdum I didn't know this was a cocern since 2022 and haven't been already addressed. I might report it there again. Thanks!

It's frustrating that one cannot stop all access when the phone is locked. I would prefer a black box where nothing can be revealed unless it's unlocked.

mmmm You can halfway achieve that with secondary user profiles since you can press the end session button to put them encrypted at rest. Granted that you have to switch back to the user profile before you unlock it again, but it's quicker than restarting the whole device which is what's required for the owner profile.
