I installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.olo.dairyqueen.production recently, and it hangs when attempting to use location services.

I tried turning off "Use precise location", the app asked me to turn it back on but I declined, and now the app works. Insofar as I haven't made an order yet, so lacking precise location might still be a problem.

I've raised this with Dairy Queen.

I believe that most apps don't use this option.
It's an Android option, so if the apps aren't compatible, it won't work. This is not a GrapheneOS problem.

The same app installed on GrapheneOS and on Android, works on Android and does not work on GrapheneOS, unless I turn off "Use precise location".

GrapheneOS is at the least a contributing factor. Although I expect the real issue is the DQ app is doing something odd or "assuming of permissions" that fails under GOS' tighter security/privacy. The McDonald's app, installed in the same manner, does work on GOS (as a reference data point). Which is why I've raised this with DQ.

My goal in posting here is to help others encountering the same issue.

I am specifically not asking GrapheneOS to do anything.
