I have seen through a web search that there were older discussions abut this, that is how I got here. NIB, unlocked Pixel7a from amazon. Fully, freshly, updated to the gills. Tried to install Graphene Lynx. Went well up to restart and locking bootloader, then went into boot loop with a trouble code : g.co/ABH. What I have been able to identify is that usb connectivity has been lost specifically with the pixel. I have tried three different cables, including the cable that came with the device, and two different ports. All three cables, and both ports work with other devices, I tested them through the course of troubleshooting and the pixel remains in the bootloop whether it is connected to the laptop or not. So somewhere in the process, after flashing the device, and upon restarting, USB connectivity at the device is being lost. There is another code, ID: 003f1ade I have 32gb of ram and over 1 tb of free drive. Thanks in advance

The boot loop is there because the OS did not successfully install, but you tried to start it nonetheless. You need to flash the OS again.

Hold both the power and volume down buttons at the same time until you return to the bootloader interface (fastboot menu).

Once you are back at the fastboot menu, you can flash release again using the web installer. If the flash fails don't press any buttons on your phone, but instead make a note of the error message, and come back here with the message to ask for support.

Just to be clear: At no point between confirming to unlock the bootloader and locking it again should you touch the phone. If you do you can abort the install, which appears to be what has happened. The install steps between unlock and lock are all handled from the device running the web installer.

Reflash the OS according to my instructions above, and things should be fine.
