In your situation, I would consider a factory reset overkill.
If there's apps that you're having issues with and you can't figure out what the configuration issue is, I would suggest creating a new user profile, and installing and testing the relevant apps there. You can think of the new user profile as a bit like a separate phone, since all of the user data is separate.
If you do factory reset, I would advise against relying on Seedvault which is the backup service currently included in GrapheneOS. It's unreliable, and there's a good chance you won't be able to restore your backup after a factory reset. I would instead encourage you to set up your apps again manually. But in any case, I don't think a factory reset should be necessary for what you're trying to do.
