deactivate backups

Hi,
I can't find an option to deactivate the automatic backups. Were can I deactivte the backups or is there no way to do it?

dashorn Hello Dashorn, I'm guessing you want to deactivate seedvault? An old post on reddit suggests clear the app data via settings and set it up again. NOTE: Seedvault is known to be very unreliable. I think GOS is developing their own backup solution, but no release date has been announced yet.

I think the OP might be referring to the fact that Seedvault automatically starts a backup when the user plugs in the storage device that was configured to be used with Seedvault. So every time I plug in my USB stick, Seedvault starts backing up automatically. (This is assuming that local/disk storage was selected by the user during the setup). There doesn't seem to be an option to disable the automatic backup feature.
