Hi all,
I just tried to install GOS on my brandnew pixel tablet and ended up in disaster!
I used my laptop and the WebUSB-based installer on windows 10 with Edge browser.
I enabled OEM unlocking successfully, booted into the bootloader interface and connected the tablet without using the stand.
Next I unlocked the bootloader successfully and downloaded the GOS factory image. Then I flashed the image.
Everything seemed to be ok so far but then during then flash procedure I got the error message: Failed to execute transferOut on USBDevice: A transfer error occured.
I ended up in a boot loop and managed to get out but after a reboot I got the error: Your device is corrupt.
With pressing volume down and power button I am able to get into fastboot mode. From there I then tried several times to flash the device again while using a different cable and different laptop port: at some stage of this procedure when it automatically restarts the device I am always ending up with: device is corrupt!
My next attempt was to use my GOS pixel 6 with vanadium instead of my laptop but again with no success.
Anyone able to help me? I am baffled. Is my tablet a 500 Euro brick now?
