Editing clipboard crashes UI

Copy text, click the editor, screen goes black and takes me back to lock screen.

Huh, actually didn't know there was a copy editor because I've never tapped that. The more you know.

Anyway, also on 2024050700 (Pixel 8) and seems to work fine on my end. Using any particular apps when it happens? Any particular keyboard or changed settings/permissions?

Edit: perhaps in the mean time, if you may recall any sequence of actions leading up to this crash. Other details, such as the type of profile (owner/secondary) and/or third-party apps/non-default setting changes, etc,. Would potentially be helpful in possibly resolving your issue.

akc3n one profile, google play installed, default settings.

I have recently deleted Florisboard and gone back to the standard AOSP keyboard that's the only recent change.

After further testing the issue seems to be where the amount copied exceeds 10 characters.
