Hi,

I just realized that I do not get any notifications via my smartwatch. Also the other behavior is kinda strange.

Even the app (Galaxy Wearable) is complaining about not enough permissions "Allow notifications for Galaxy Watch 5 Manager"

In fact I cannot change the settings, as they are greyed out/blocked by GrapheneOS. "Device and App Notifications". Only app which has the permissions is right now the Launcher.
When I try to give the Galaxy Watch5 Manager the permissions I get: "Restricted/limited Setting: Because of security reasons this setting is actually not available"

Could you tell me please how I can grant the permissions again? Tbh this is really annoying, especially after the USB issue we had before.

Thanks a lot.

in addition: also the internet connection via bluetooth from the watch does not work. For instance google playstore, spotify, etc...

PeterPan as they are greyed out/blocked by GrapheneOS.

This is behavior inherited from AOSP, not a GrapheneOS thing.

Try allowing restricted settings by following these instructions: https://support.google.com/android/answer/12623953?sjid=7416331474786051933-AP#allowrestrictedsettings

other8026 interestingly, last year it was easy to approve apps when allowing restricted settings, now in GrapheneOS there are many apps where you can enable restricted settings, the 3 dots will disappear, but go back one page and then back to the app and the 3 dots are back with the option to allow restricted settings again!

On these apps it is impossible to allow access to restricted settings. I remember this from about back in January before I culled my app list and got rid of all apps that would ask for this anyways, but just thought of it and thought I should mention it... One such app that could never be enabled was Fluid Navigation Gestures.

Thanks a LOT. This fixed the issue. Tried almost every and any setting but was not aware about this one.
I guess this is a new one?

Can I put a [SOLVED] somehow to the subject?

I fully understand your view on this. Also to get rid of apps which asks for this permissions. But once you decided to go the way with a smartwatch, surely you want to use it the normal way.

Locked as solved, glad to see things are working!

        final locked the discussion .
