  • Resume do not disturb schedule after manually disabling from quick settings?

Hi All,

If I set a DND schedule for sleeping from 10pm-7am in settings, but then need to manually disable this from quick settings once that schedule has already started, if then I re-enable DND from the quick settings it does not resume the schedule - it stay's on until I manually switch it off.

Does anyone know how to change the behavior so that when re-enabling it, it resumes the schedule rather than staying on permanently until its manually switched off?

I've looked through the settings and have found options that allow "until turned off" or "for X hours" but "resume schedule" is not an option.

    Sorry, I'm not sure that completely understand it but below is what I noticed recently. And I'm not sure if this is the expected behaviour or a bug. Here is an example:

    • I have a DND schedule that activates on Sun - Thu, 11:55 pm - 7:00 am.
    • If I manually toggle the DND [on] from the quick tiles at 11:00 pm on Wed, it does not auto-deactivate (sets DND [off]) by schedule on the next morning, so I have to manually put DND [off] by the quick tile.

      Yes, it seems that if you do anything by using the quick settings tile, it overrides (or has priority over) the schedule that you have set.

      On occasions I've wanted to turn the DND on earlier than scheduled or temporarily off once it has started, but then I've forgotten to manually switch it off the next morning which meant that I've missed people that have been trying to contact me until I realized that it still switched on.

      I don't know. Maybe that is by design. Similar to Airplane mode. E. g. - you turn Airplane mode on, then turn the WiFi on. When you turn off Airplane mode the WiFi remains on. Now, subsequently tuning the Airplane mode on will NOT turn the WiFi off. There is a phone notification from GrapheneOS that explains it. Looks like this is by AOSP.

      Sorry to revive old thread, but, where is this DND schedule?
      All i see in latest OS is Dark Theme Schedule, Night Light Schedule and Battery Saver Schedule.
      Am i missing something or is DND schedule removed in latest versions?

        0sy92 you need to create a custom mode, where you can set a schedule. It works the same as the regular DnD.

            n3t_admin Tnx. Was confused since my other droid phone (not GOS) has option to schedule DND.
