pit2p I'm confused. If the sensor permission is denied, then it won't work.
I remember looking into a similar issue once. (Again) If I remember correctly, the app itself doesn't handle the call. What you see is a system service that's helping the app do the call. Kind of like a middleman. So, it's not surprising that the sensor is working during a call even if the app itself doesn't have the sensor permission granted.
