Hello everyone, i currently have the latest version of grapheneos installed on my pixel 7a. I bought a wireless microphone that connects to the phone through a usb-c wireless receiver. Its plug and play with no apps required so it should work straight out of the box after plugging it into the phone but it doesn't. It does work on other android devices i've tried it on without issues, it's certainly a grapheneos issue as i've seen other people make it work on pixels with stock android. In the instructions manual there's a bulletpoint telling you to activate OTG power supply for certain phone brands if it doesn't work but no mention of pixel phones. There seems to be no such option in the settings of pixel devices but i found that people managed to make it work on pixel 7a by activating "wireless microphone" in the pixel cam settings. I downloaded the pixel cam and didn't found that option. Is there any way to make it work with the grapheneos camera? Thanks

I had it in allow new usb peripherals when unlocked but ive tried the other options and none work

Try on the normal Pixel OS, it is unlikely that this is an issue with GrapheneOS. Note: GrapheneOS Camera does not support external audio recording devices.

flawedworld I've tried with many other camera apps and it doesnt work. I don't see why it could not be an issue with GrapheneOS as in other devices i have tried it on works fine and i've seen comments of people using it on Pixel 7a with stock OS. It might also be the way my settings are...

I have the same issue - connecting a digital audio device (Rode Wireless Go II) via USB-C is registered by the OS and also by the supporting app - however no camera app (tested ProShot, ProCamX, Graphene Stock Camera) uses the audio provided through USB-C.
Like the OP I think this might possibly be a bug or just the matter of setting I am missing. Any help or idea is appreciated.

I have an Update - it seems to be not a problem of GrapheneOS but of the camera app - using wireless mics works when using ProShot app...
