The recent 2 system updates partially bricked my phone. It's weird, I'll explain.

I recently switched to graphene os in October and I've loved every bit of it until the system updates that recently came out. I have a Pixel 5a and everything was working perfectly from October until a few weeks ago. When I noticed there was a system update I downloaded it and updated my phone... Huge mistake, everything broke immediately upon restarting the phone. No notifications would come through until hours later, no sound for anything or vibration. If I made a phone call or answered it I could hear nothing and the other person could also hear nothing. Oddly enough the speaker phone icon was selected the whole time and could not be turned off. I could not use any of my online video streaming apps (grayjay, youtube, rumble), video was stuck frozen our would play at 1/100 speed with no audio. If I tried streaming video through a web browser (I tried Firefox and Vanadium); the video would play but there was no audio. Multiple apps would freeze upon launch and I would have to force stop them to use my phone again. Yes I did let the update optimize the apps. It did it twice. I tried restarting my phone many times, nothing... Mysteriously after leaving the phone turned off and unplugged over night the next morning I turned it back on and everything was fine and working correctly. I thought that was the end of my issues, just a weird update. Nope, later that day phone went back to bricked randomly and seemingly without reason. I tried leaving it off over night and that worked again, until randomly back to bricked the next day. This continued every day until the second system update came out that I immediately downloaded and installed praying that it was the fix my phone needed. Nope, phone was bricked upon restarting after system update. However after much trial and error I realized my phone no longer needed to be left off and unplugged over night and only had to be turned off for more than 1 hour. After that it could be turned back on and everything was working again... But instead of my phone randomly becoming a brick every day, it would happen about every 2-4 days. With no new system updates that I have seen and I checked today I can't keep going on like this. I am required by my job to answer all phone calls and texts within 30 min of me receiving them or I risk being fired. There's only so many times I can tell my boss I missed his call and didn't call back in time because my phone broke, before he tells me to get a new phone or I'm fired. The more aggravating part is I also have a Pixel 4a and I updated it as well and it has no issues, I cant use it for my job because it does not have the battery capacity to last me the whole day.

Dynamic_Hyperlink Define 'bricked', would it refuse to boot into the OS and put you in fastboot (red triangle)

My pixel 5a broke, Google told me there was a battery/motherboard issue. Could be that, they upgraded it for free

Sounds a bit like a hardware issue, but it's hard to tell
