Hello, new phone, and new to Graphene. I downloaded F-Droid ans Aurora store from their webpages (for avoid Play Store).
First, i wish to know if i should use some restrictions for use whatapp; is the only app i use i can't trust.
Then i need an app for manage my contacts, because the backups from old phone not gone so well. There is something to edit them in bulk? Better if is Linux-Android.
Need a couple of advices

Hello!
On GrapheneOS:
- all apps are sandboxed
- all apps are untrusted
- by default all permissions are denied (except for "Network" and "Sensors")
Don't give unnecessary permissions to apps and you should be good to go!
Regarding contacts you can either import them as .vcf file or you can use a cloud service (such as Google Contacts).
Deleted then manually, and this time import gone well.
Should i use Storage Scopes for Whatapp? It gonna mess it?

Gluca23 You should understand that
the storage scopes feature allows apps to create files as they typically would and allows them to access those files, just like how it would work on stock Android. Where storage scopes is different is that it allows whitelisting which specific directories and files the app can see.
Using storage scopes with WhatsApp would allow it to see the data it's created for itself, but you can then chose exactly what other data like your pictures or downloads it can see. So no way to break WhatsApp using it.
Further reading can be done here.
jarelllama Yes, it seem to have an added layer of security. I enabled it and created a specific folder. If i take a pic with whatapp it should use only that folder, and not save in the usual location.
Turning storage scopes on just means the app thinks it can see everything in the user's local storage, but it really can't see anything except files the app saved. For the most part, just turning storage scopes on and adding no folders or files is all you'll need.
Adding a folder to WhatsApp's storage scopes will not force it to use that folder. What that means is that WhatsApp can see everything within that folder. WhatsApp will still save files in its default location unless you can change its default location.
