Aru Night mode is provided by a CameraX extension for Pixels. That's what's providing it.

In the future, more modes will be added, and they should now automatically appear for the GrapheneOS Camera app in GrapheneOS as well.

Aru Pixel 6 and later have Night mode as a Camera2 and CameraX extension. That's now supported on GrapheneOS rather than only working on the stock Pixel OS.

GrapheneOS Really? I thought it was still an upcoming feature. I looked quickly but didn't find how to enable it. What is the purpose of enabling Pixel Camera Services then?

Edit: I mean... Was Night mode available on GOS before this update?

GrapheneOS After updating to this release version the app "Pixel Camera Services" showed up in the Aurora store for me as an app to be updated (I did not install it previously).

When I try to "update" the camera services app I get this error "INSTALL_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR: fs-verity not set up for system package update com.android.server.pm.PackageManagerException: APK doesn't have fs-verity: /data/app/~_zpGx_7QWqpBHqT56LkPUpQ==/com.google.android.apps.camera.services--W8XWWBd9xunTcT9U6aa1A==/base.apk"

I blacklisted it on Aurora because I presume updates will come from Graphene instead?

Do the log level/viewer settings (Verbose, Debug, etc.) have any impact on device performance?

SepiaFox it's my understanding that this app cannot be updated by Aurora and updates may be handled by GrapheneOS's Apps app in the future.

3-buttons navigation still frozen when I want to kill an app or moving in between what I have in background, I wonder why no one else sees this and it's really annoying

Just to confirm, it's normal for Pixel camera services update to fail on through Aurora Store right? I tried it a few times; it downloads the update but then fails with an error.

It won't be updateable through Aurora. You must blacklist it there. It is done through the system updates.

@GrapheneOS this update broke the wallpaper preview in Wallpaper and style settings page (longpress home screen tap). It show a white background for lock screen and home screen even if using somethinf elss. Not priority just mention. Thank for always providing updates

Any particular reason you have developer options enabled? Are you a developer? Users shouldn't have it enabled unless they know what they're doing. A lot of issues people post about on here and Matrix are due to them touching settings under there that they shouldn't have.
