Hi,

I can't seem to get magic earth to work with Android Auto. I reinstalled both a couple of times, magic earth after Android Auto, but still nothing. I install ME from the Aurora store.

I already enabled unknown sources and most apps are working fine. Besides for signal, Molly, WhatsApp, Element and magic Earth. But The only one that I really care about a lot is magic Earth.

They all show up in the car app launcher, but when I click on them they all have the same message "no new messages during this drive".

If anyone knows of any solutions I would really really appreciate it.

Thanks a million!

And a special thanks to the graphene developers for working so hard to get Android Auto to work! You're the absolute best!

I barely tried for a couple of minutes but didn't have any issues with Magic Earth in Android Auto. Good luck!

    Aru thanks for responding though.

Where did you download ME from?

Also tried installing it through Aurora Store and got the same message on AA. Had to install it through Play Store and now it works fine. Hope this helps!

        RRZishe From the GPlay Store.

stallun Is there a way to install it from the Play store without signing in?

aww55555 I think that you often have to use the actual PlayStore Version to get it working. At least that's how I fixed the issue. The Aurora-Store Version of several apps did not work for me with Android-Auto. I often had to directly from the PlayStore. Unfortunately you need a Google-Account for this.

Has anyone tried Kinginstaller (available on GitHub)? It claims to install apps so that they appear to be from the Play Store. Unfortunately, it does not work with Android 14 so most GrapheneOS phones are excluded.

I was so hoping to get Magic Earth working on AA bec I do all my route planning on my phone and then I have to either transfer the gpx file to my Android head unit in the truck or manually reconstruct the route. Both of which are a pain and don't always, for whatever reason, produce the same results.

Obtainium's newest version apparently has a pretend to be GPlay option.

Dumdum in order for that to work, the phone has to have Shizuku installed.
