Messing with system components is highly recommended against and will lead to breaking stuff.
It is more likely that the battery consumption being shown is inaccurate.
A few things you can do to improve battery usage are:
- 24/7 battery saver mode (or generally using batter saver mode, doesn't have to be 24/7)
- install as few apps as possible
- set all user-installed apps to restricted battery usage
- enable airplane mode (mobile network drains ALOT of battery, especially on older models)
- keep all other radios off whenever possible (bluetooth, wifi, nfc, etc)
- disable always-on-display (I think battery saver might already do this)
These should be the main factors and should already make a big difference.
But optimizing batter life never involves messing with the system itself.
The operating system itself is already optimized for the best battery efficiency, there are no further "hidden tricks" to improve battery life, no need to change the battery usage for any system components or change developer options. (dev options should be kept off at all times as they are dangerous and not meant for production usage)
