  • [deleted] - I believe the clipboard behavior is determined by the keyboard you're using (https://grapheneos.org/faq#clipboard.).

I use the OpenBoard keyboard and they allow you to enable or disable the clipboard history along with setting the history retention time.

I'm not sure if you're using the default GOS keyboard, but I couldn't find any information about their clipboard management behavior; you may need to just test it out.

  • I know all Samsung phones I have encountered, S9, S10, S20, S22 offer the option, when setting up a PIN for Screen lock, to:

    "Confirm PIN without tapping OK"

I don't see this option within GrapheneOS when setting up a PIN screen lock; you are required to enter your PIN then click the submit button in the bottom right.

I have a feeling this functionality would require a change to the OS, so I reckon it's not something I can do using some other easier method, but if someone has this functionality somehow, could you let me know how?

    Thanks y'all.

    • phrentic I just run it in the browser. The only limitation I have seen is that you cannot add extra stops to your ride, you can only add a pickup location and a drop-off location.

    • Hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the Camera's Storage Location to a location outside of the device's internal storage? I would like to make it so all the images I take from the camera automatically save to my Proton Drive. I know Proton Drive isn't ideal for photo storage/viewing, but it would be cool to see this work.

When I am signed into Proton Drive on my device, I can access the files in Proton Drive via the default Files app. However, when selecting a location for Camera > More Settings > Storage Location, I am restricted to the device's internal storage locations'.

It makes sense, because if I disconnect from Proton Drive the Camera's Storage Location would be invalid, but in that case the setting could just return back to its default (Main storage/DCIM/Camera).

Does anybody know if this is possible? You can see some related screenshots here: https://i.imgur.com/ii9JXxx.png

      Thanks.

    • I'm not sure about other phones, but I know the Samsung S Series phones offer app shortcuts on the lock screen. From the lock screen, I could swipe up from either corner to quickly access any app (pretty helpful for camera).

Do you know if this capability is possible with Graphene OS... I know it's not stock but could a different launcher achieve this functionality?

Also just a side note, but it would be pretty great if I could use those lock screen shortcuts to quickly change user profile's. Or, if I could create a shortcut on my home screen to quickly change to another user profile.

    • A note — if you have the unlocked phone and intend to use a Verizon SIM card, do not insert the SIM card prior to enabling OEM Unlocking.
