I was able to get RCS to work. I was missing adding my phone number in the messages app. I went into settings, advanced and put my phone number in which allowed it to work

I've tried the method granting permissions with Shizuki, installing Google app, installing carrier services, and toggling Wi-Fi on/off among other things with no luck. Anyone else have any other suggestions? I'm on U.S. Mobile (Verizon network). Seems like Verizon is the problem carrier most of the time when enabling RCS

I have not had any Bluetooth issues. I was already paired to Shokz Openrun and Shokz Opencomm headsets, Garmin Instinct smart watch, and 2013 Toyota. My phone connects no problem to these devices, streams audio, handles calls, and receive notifications just fine.

It is a workaround because I can at least still make phone calls with Wi-Fi calling disabled. I am hoping this will be fixed once the GrapheneOS version for the 8a is out of prerelease.Disabling Wi-Fi calling also worked for me so at least there is a work around. I'm on U.S. Mobile (Verizon network) with eSIM.
I am also having this issue with my Pixel 8a. I have disabled Wi-Fi calling for now to see if the workaround works for me as well.
