Thank you so much @Dumdum and @danishgraphene. This was probably how it did it on Nova Launcher as well then. Didn't remember.
Lawnchair doesn't have the option to put an articons icon on the shortcut like Nova launcher did but still better than having to always remember to delete browsing history manually.
