I'm a new user of GrapheneOS, my first try was 3 days ago, I was confuse (tired from the day), use it for 3 hours and get back to regular android.

The next day, I was like frustrated to not having trying more. I have GOS on my Pixel 10 pro since 2 days now. (I'm living in EU and some recent news actually scare me about the future of our privacy)

Here how I've setup my GOS, could you please tell me if I'm using it good please?

Two user profiles.

Main (owner) :

No google services or everything.
Aurora store (no google account)
F-Droid
Proton mail.
Proton Drive
Proton calendar
Formula One, Moto GP apps.
Plexamp
Reddit, X, Amazon, Gym access app, Workout app, second hands market app, etc.
Signal, (Telegram removed since I need to pay fee for login)
Bitwarden (APK from repo)
FUTO Keyboard (APK from repo)
Duckduckgo (APK from repo)
Google clock alarm (no internet access)
Google Calculator (No internet access)

Other one, called "G-Mode" (Not allowed in background):

Play Store, Service, Carrier, etc..
Pixel camera (minimum authorization, no internet access, no position, etc)
Google Photo (I'm still to hooked to this app, I try to make thing step by step)
Google phone app.
Google message app.
Google Family Link.
Gmail (Just in case some mail still come here)
Banking app.
Tesla app.
Webook.
Bitwarden (APK from repo)
FUTO Keyboard (APK from repo)
Duckduckgo (APK from repo)

Is this a good way, to start at least? Can you confirm to me while I'm on my main profile, everything related to my "G-Mode" profile is like completely off, no data sends to google (Like a shutdown phone?

Is all the randoms app on my main profile send random data to their server (cause of course they need access to internet).

I've used Firefox relay since some times now, so the transfer from Gmail to Proton mail is actually pretty easy.

A question about VPN usage, should I install the VPN on main profile only of both? If the VPN is on on main profile, did the data in second profit still use the VPN?

And of course if you have nay more advice, your are most welcome guys :).

PS: Any idea on my second profile, how I can give the launcher access to my google photo for changing background picture?
