Unsuccessful Login in certain apps

Hi,
I recently started using GrapheneOS. At the beginning I was worried that my banking apps wouldn't work, but thankfully that wasn't a problem. But sadly I got problems with other apps. One app thats refusing to work properly is my health insurance app "Meine AOK". Another one is an app of a supermarket chain ("REWE"). I think that both apps have the same problem. When clicking on login, an login form opens in my default browser as an integrated window in the app. I enter my credentials and hit login and afterwards, an error occurs. The REWE app says that the requested page couldn't be found. The AOK app says that an error occured and that if I'm not using Google Chrome or Safari, that I should check if my browser has the newest updates and support universal links.
I installed the apps on a profile without the google play services and on one with the services installed. I tried different browsers too (Vanadium, Brave and Chrome). Also tried the option to deny apps to open links in the embedded browser and instead open the browser app seperately. Another thing I tried was that links that the browser opens are opened in an icognito tab to avoid problems with cached stuff. Didn't work. I also tried the app compatibility guide, sadly it didn't work too. Does anyone have any ideas?

Same here, tried AOK and Rewe in private space and in second profile, both options don't work... AOK says that something wrong with universal links.

Maybe we should create an issue

Could you provide more information? For example if you have Google Play Services installed on that profile, which browser you are using, etc. Is there also other stuff that could help to run the app correctly? Like if you are using a certain version or granted certain permissions?

I have Play Services running in a secondary profile. Current version 5.9.0.
Permissions include network, notifications and always ask for location.
All exploit protections are running.

Rewe and AOK worked for me on my old pixel 6a in main profile. Now I got pixel 10 and they are not working in secondary.

So maybe issue with profiles?

P.S. We also should annoy developers at aok and rewe xd

Roaming4231 Strange, maybe something fundamentally changed in how the login process is handled?
Sadly afaik contacting the devs/ the support is almost always not successful, since they have to make a lot of changes for a marginal amount of users who these changes will benefit.

2JADEd Could you also say which browser you are using as your default browser on that profile and if you have changed any substantial settings? I've checked the things you said and I'm also using the same setup, but the app still isn't working.

Anon_Usr same thing with IKEA app, they are all redirecting u to browser during login and that part looks broken to me

Maybe it got something to do with which device one is using? Since it worked on @Roaming4231 's Pixel 6a. I'm using a Pixel 10 Pro.

@"Anon_Usr" I wrote a message on aok.de/meineAokSupport and described this error, they called me back... (I don't speak German). So if u are native u can try to explain everything to them

For me, it's the same. I have a pixel 9 and use vanadium as main browser. Using Firefox, brave, or chrome did not change anything. Everything on my main profile. I have Google Play services installed.

Previously on my pixel 6a they worked both. When setting up the pixel 9, at least the rewe app worked, but now it won't anymore.

I contacted both support teams but the only thing they was just to use another browser, reinstall, clear cache...

Here is the fix for this problem (confirmed with rewe and ikea):

Go to "App Info" of the App where you can't log in
Click on "Open by default"
Select "In the app" (is usually already enabled)
And now the important part:
Click on "Add link"
Select all unchecked links and click "Add"
Now you can login
